When does series 4 of People Just Do Nothing start?

BBC announces iPlayer launch date

The BBC has confirmed the premiere date for series four of People Just Do Nothing.

The show will return to  BBC Three’s iPlayer channel on August 15 to further chart the exploits of west London pirate radio station Kurupt FM and its crew, MC Grindah, DJ Beats and Chabuddy G.

In the forthcoming series, uncertain times lie ahead for Kurupt when its chief, Grindah, hits rock bottom after his break-up with Miche and the boys start going down different paths. And following the birth of his and Roche’s baby, an exhausted Beats tries to juggle being a stay-at-home dad with his radio commitments.

Meanwhile, Steves is getting through the loss of his Nan by spending time with baby Robyn, while Chabuddy struggles with bankruptcy and has to look for work to make ends meet. With the prospect of war with a rival pirate station on the horizon, can they all pull together to save Kurupt FM?

The hit show originally aired on YouTube in 2012 before gaining a series commission on BBC iPlayer, followed by three series on BBC Three. The fourth series will consist of six 30 minute episodes.

People Just Do Nothing was created by Allan Mustafa, Steve Stamp, Asim Chaudhry and Hugo Chegwin who all star in the sitcom, and is produced by Roughcut TV.

It is executive produced by Ash Atalla and Jon Petrie for Roughcut and was commissioned by Damian Kavanagh and Alex Moody for BBC Three.
