At a full-size supermarket in Bristol

Filming has begun on the seventh series of Sky1 comedy Trollied.

The sitcom is shot on a full-scale Valco supermarket, built at The Bottle Yard Studios in Bristol.

Site director Fiona Francombe said: ‘Trollied was one of the first shows to shoot here and their return each year has been a cornerstone for the studio’s development.’ Tim Sealey, from programme-makers Roughcut TV added: ‘We have always felt very well looked after here.’

The returning cast includes Jason Watkins, Stephen Tompkinson, Sarah Parish, Rita May, Channel Cresswell, Carl Rice, Beverly Rudd, Lorraine Cheshire, Faye Mckeever, Jack Carroll, Nikhil Parmar and Dominic Coleman.
