Headliners revealed

 Al Murray, Lee Nelson, Dane Baptiste, Joel Dommett, Luisa Omielan and Nish Kumar are to headline the new series of Stand Up Central, Chortle can reveal.

The series is to return to Comedy Central this autumn, with Chris Ramsey taking over from Russell Howard.

Eight half-hour episodes will be filmed at the Electric Ballroom in Camden, North London, from next month, each featuring two guests.

The rest of the line-ups has not yet been confirmed.

The first series of Stand Up Central – made by Avalon TV – launched in 2015, attracting 115,000 viewers overnight – ahead of the channel’s 10pm slot average at the time of 74,000.
