Dillie up for New York theatre award
Dillie Keane has been nominated for a top New York theatre award.
The Fascinating Aida comedian is one of just two nominees for the best revue category in the Drama Desk awards, with her show, Hello Dillie!,s up against Life Is for Living: Conversations With Coward.
Both shows were at the 59E59 venue last year… and coincidentally the Coward show – produced by the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, Guildford – compared itself to Keane in its blurb,
Other nominees in the prestigious awards include Daniel Craig, Kevin Kline, Danny DeVito and Bette Midler.
The Drama Desk Awards, which are presented annually, honour outstanding achievement both on and off Broadway,. They are voted on by critics and journalists covering theatre
The winners will be announced on June 4.
