JOZ NORRIS: YOU BUILD THE THING YOU THINK YOU ARE: When this year's Edinburgh Fringe was cancelled, comedian Joz Norris decided to use lockdown to put the ideas he had for his show into a movie instead, which is today being released as  a paid-for download via comedy DVD label Go Faster Stripe. It tells the story of the identity crisis Norris went through after being evicted from the flat where he'd spent most of his adult life and will be available here

Tuesday October 6

JOSH BERRY'S FAKE NEWS: The impressionist returns for a third series of his satirical Union Jack Radio podcast from today. Berry originally gained prominence for his impressions of tennis players including Andy Murray, Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal during coverage of Wimbledon in 2013. Since then, he has appeared in Michael McIntyre’s Big Show, Dead Ringers and The Now Show, among others. Listen to the returning show online at unionjack.co.uk or through the usual podcast channels.

BOOTHBY GRAFFOE: TRADING SONGS: Rich Hall is the comic's guest on his musical talk show this week. Tickets, priced £10, are available here.

Wednesday October 7

ALWAYS BE COMEDY: There's a very strong bill at this virtual gig tonight with pub landlord Al Murray, The Mash Report's Nish Kumar, Jayde Adams from the BBC's recent Stand Up For Live Comedy, and the excellent Rich Wilson. Tickets

Friday October 9

JUST FOR LAUGHS: It might never have been in the plan for the Montreal-based festival, usually such a honeypot for the US comedy industry, to go online this year, but organisers have embraced the opportunity with both hands, offering several virtual comedy rooms running simultaneously over two days. And not only do you not have to travel to Quebec to see some of the biggest names in international comedy, each season is completely free. Jimmy Carr, Noel Fielding, Hannah Gadsby, Judd Apatow, Chelsea Handler and Gina Yashere are just some of the familiar comics taking part. Just For Laughs kicks off at 10.15pm UK time, and each show will remain on the website via video on demand until 5am Monday.

FLEABAG: You MUST have seen this already, right? But if somehow Phoebe Waller-Bridge's comedy masterclass has passed you by until now, the second and final series lands on Amazon Prime today.

STREATHAM FESTIVAL: Juliet Meyers, Tom Ward, Ana Magliano and MC Sion James are staging a virtual gig tonight as part of the South London festival, with half of proceeds going to Norwood & Brixton Foodbank. Tickets
