Alan Carr to present Interior Design Masters

Taking over from Fearne Cotton on BBC Two show

Alan Carr is taking over from Fearne Cotton as presenter of BBC Two’s Interior Design Masters.

He will be joined by Michelle Ogundehin, the former editor-in-chief of Elle Decoration magazine,  who returns as the head judge in the second series. `

Over the eight-part series, ten up-and-coming designers will tackle a series of design challenges, competing  to win a life-changing design contract with a prestigious commercial client.

Carr said: ‘I just can’t wait to get started on this. I’m such a huge fan of interior design and I’m chomping at the bit to see what these wonderfully creative people have in store for us."

Donna Clark, managing director of  programme-makers DSP added they were ‘absolutely thrilled’ to have signed the comedian, adding: ‘His wit and enthusiasm will definitely bring a dose of sparkle to the series and we can’t wait to see him take the helm.’
