Dawn French to make her panto debut

Playing the Wicked Queen at the London Palladium

Dawn French is to make her pantomime debut as the Wicked Queen.

She will take the role in Snow White at the annual London Palladium spectacular this year.

‘Director Michael Harrison told the Daily Mail’s Baz Bamigboye: ‘I’ve been trying to coax Dawn for a long time. She’ll be funny, with a twinkle in her eye.’

Julian Clary is to return to the panto, playing the Man In The Mirror, with former professional dancers Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace, formerly of Strictly Come Dancing, also in the cast

The show will open on December 8 and run for five weeks.

Paul Zerdin, Nigel Havers and Gary Wilmot have also taken part in previous Palladium pantos

Earlier this week, we reported how Milton Jones was also making his panto debut this winter.
