BBC honours Who Do You Think You Are? show

Mark Steel has won his second radio award in a week.

The comic’s Radio 4  show about his surprising family roots, Who Do I Think I Am? Scooped the best comedy production accolade at the BBC Radio & Music Awards.

It came days after he scooped the Chortle radio award for his show Mark Steel’s In Town, featuring custom-written stand up for various locations around the UK.

The BBC ceremony also honoured Nicholas Parsons with their gold award for hosting Just A Minute for five decades. Regular panellist Paul Merton handed over the award.
