Phoebe Waller-Bridge to star in Run

Fleabag star Phoebe Waller-Bridge is to star in a new romantic thriller comedy series.

Fleabag director Vicky Jones will be writing the new show, entitled simply Run, and the pair will be producing it through their joint company DryWrite.

It is about two ex-lovers who made a pact 15 years ago that if they ever needed to escape life, they could send each other a simple text message – ‘RUN’ – and they would impulsively disappear together.

The news was announced by distributors eOne in London this morning, entertainment industry website Deadline reports. No broadcaster has yet been announced.
