Jimmy Carr is working on a chat show in which the studio audience ask the questions. 

The show is being developed for Channel 4 who point out that it is still an ‘embryonic idea’– and may not make it to air.

It is being touted as a rival to shows from the likes of Jonathan Ross and Graham Norton, with a production source telling The Sun: ‘The public won’t shirk away from asking tough questions.

The paper’s Bizarre column, which broke the news, said the show was in ‘very early development stages’, but the source added that it was a ‘fresh, new concept’.
