Underbelly returns to Edinburgh's McEwan Hall

Nina Conti and Foil, Arms and Hog to play 900-seat venue

The Underbelly is to return to the newly refurbished McEwan Hall at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe.

Nina Conti and Irish sketch trip Foil Arms and Hog will be among the acts performing at the venue.

The building will contain five Fringe spaces, the main 900-capacity auditorium and four smaller spaces seating between 60 to 145.

Foil Arms and Hog will be returning to the Fringe for their tenth year with a new show entitled  Craicling, which will be on in the main hall for the full run at 9pm. Conti will be there at 7pm.

The first shows for this year’s Fringe go on sale at noon on Monday. 

Underbelly have also confirmed the return of late-night stand-up show Spank! and The Thinking Drinkers, with their new show Pub Crawl.

Underbelly’s Circus Hub will also be returning, with the first show announced being Splash Test Dummies.
