In the first of the new series, Love and Hate in the Deep South he visits New Orleans for the Southern Decadence Festival of LGBT pride… and meets with veteran hate preacher Ruben Israel who is determined disrupt the celebrations as much as they possibly can.9pm.

NASTY WOMEN: Every Saturday Radio 4 Extra dedicates three hours to themed archive comedy programming. And this week it's hosted by Jan Ravens who looks back at the history of funny, determined women on air, including Hattie Jacques, Betty Marsden, Meera Syal, Linda Smith,Jocelyn Jee Esien and Mae Martin. Stand-ups Kiri Pritchard McLean and Lauren Pattison also join Ravens in the studio. Radio 4 Extra, 9am.
