Sky One orders more Bounty Hunters

Jack Whitehall and Rosie Perez to return

Sky 1 has ordered a second series of Jack Whitehall action series Bounty Hunters.

He will be reunited with Rosie Perez for the second series of the show, which he writes with his Bad Education co-creator Freddy Syborn.

The show was the biggest sitcom launch on Sky One for six years  with an audience of more than 1.37 million. 

Blurb for the second series gives little away except to say that the star pair will be ‘back with a bang - quite literally - ready for more adventures and scrapes’.  It is due to air next year.

Sky announced the new commission at a corporate event in London where it pledged to increase its spend on original commissions by 25 per cent.

Sky’s managing director of content Gary Davey said: ‘I’m incredibly excited by the scale, quality and authenticity of the UK TV industry right now.’
