More details of Inside No 9 series 4 revealed

Outline synopsis of a couple of episodes

Details of two new episodes in the fourth series of Inside No 9 have been revealed.

Basic outlines of the plots from episodes entitled Zanzibar and Once, Removed have been disclosed ahead of their premiere at London’s BFI, next month.

The screening will be followed will be followed by a Q&A with creators and stars Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton plus producer Adam Tandy.

The blurb for the Zanzibar episode reads: ‘Welcome to London’s Hotel Zanzibar / Our varied guests have travelled from afar / Proposals, plots and prostitutes combine / It’s a comedy of errors on floor nine.’

And Once, Removed is about the strains of moving house.

The description of this episode reads: ‘According to the Holmes & Rahe Stress Scale, the three most troubling experiences in life are the death of a spouse, divorce and imprisonment. Moving house is only 32nd on the list. But anything could happen in the last 10 minutes of this episode. Or the 10 minutes before that. Or the first 10 minutes for that matter.’

A list of guest stars for the fourth season has previously been released including:  Zoë Wanamaker, Noel Clarke, Emilia Fox,  Monica Dolan, Sian Gibson, Nick Moran, Nigel Planer, Kenneth Cranham, Fenella Woolga, Phoebe Sparrow, Rory Kinnear, Marcia Warren, Bill Paterson, Helen Monks, Tanya Franks, Kevin Eldon, Hattie Morahan, Nicola Walker,  Miranda Hennessy, Weruche Opia and David Calder.
