Dave's new hospital-based sitcom launches on Dave on Wednesday, with Ed Easton from sketch group Gein's Family Gift Shop, Chewing Gum's Susan Wokoma, Line Of Duty's Claudia Jessie and the legend that is Rutger Hauer.

But as a teaser, episode one is available via on-demand service UKTV Play already.

Strong & Stable

The political comedy podcast returned yesterday with a panel comprising comedian Grainne Maguire, Mail on Sunday pundit Dan Hodges and the editor of Politics.co.uk Ian Dunt.

Tom Walker also returns as fictional news reporter character Jonathan Pie, while future episodes will be hosted by LBC's James O'Brien and political adviser turned comic Ayesha Hazarika.

Presenter David Schneider said: 'What with Theresa May still insisting the UK plays Thelma to her Louise in the final scene of that film, Labour promoting their Schrodinger's Brexit which allows us to be both in and out of the single market at the same time, there should be plenty to talk about for the next few weeks. Presuming we're allowed to hang around that long by Kim Jong-un and Trump.'
