The events are being billed as intimate evenings, with Izzard reading extracts from the book and sharing personal family moments and photographs with the audience.

Izzard’s story starts back in Aden, where he was born, and includes the devastating death of his mother when he was six, which he believes has been the driving force that has propelled him so strongly.
