Deal signed for Tim Minchin's Matilda track

Tim Minchin's song When I Grow Up is to become a picture book.

The track - probably the most famous from Matilda The Musical - is sung by children imagining what adult life is like.

Lyrics will be illustrated by Steve Antony, author of the Please Mr Panda series, to create the book.

Minchin said: 'I adore Steve's work. It's been a thrill to watch him develop his gorgeous illustrations. I can't wait to hold a copy.'

When I Grow Up will be published by Scholastic in Britain October, and in the US in the summer of 2018, trade website The Bookseller reports.
