MARK STEEL is to present a BBC documentary about hip-hop. The comic is a fan of the music – especially more obscure variations such as Icelandic, Japanese or Scottish Gallic rappers – which he will explore in the Radio 4 show Mark Steel Does Hip Hop, scheduled to go out later this month.

GORDEN KAYE’s funeral is to take place at Huddersfield Parish Church at 12.30pm on February 17, it has been confirmed. The Allo Allo star died on January 23 at the age of 75.
