JOHN BISHOP has announced a string of Ireland dates for next year. He will be bringing his Winging It stand-up show to a handful of theatres and hotels in September next year before taking it to arenas in Dublin and the UK. Dates and tickets are here.

SIMPSONS and Spinal Tap star Harry Shearer is developing a half-hour weekly animated satire show about Donald Trump’s time in the White House, entitled Too Soon? He has released this teaser and is currently hawking the idea around broadcasters:

The show, which runs in London’s New Diorama Theatre from December 12 to January 7, has been written by Liam Williams and Daran Johnson.

THE BBC has announced that the Citizen Khan Christmas special will air on BBC One on Friday December 23 at 8:30pm
