LIVE IN LONDON: Sketch shows don't come much sharper than this. Daphne – Phil Wang, Jason Forbes and George Fouracres – bring their acclaimed second show to the Soho Theatre, from tonight until November 5.

LIVE IN LONDON: Harry Hill performs a club gig at the Moth Club in Hackney… but it's not just a club gig, it's the ever-inventive, ever-oddly-named Knock2Bag Club which tonight also includes the many talents of Tim Key, John Kearns, Aisling Bea, Liam Williams and Fin Taylor.

LIVE IN GLASGOW: Life After Death won Scott Gibson the best newcomer gong in Edinburgh this summer, with a story of his brush with death that eschews mawkish sentimentality for hilarious, sometimes dark, instinct for the funny. Tonight he's at the Stand.

RADIO: Max And Ivan return as incompetent private detectives for hire in a Halloween special of their crime caper sitcom The Casebook of Max and Ivan, loosely inspired by The Whicker Man… Radio 4, 6.30pm.

LIVE IN GRANTHAM: Different skills, but both these comics are on top of them. Pun maestro Gary Delaney and fun musical comic Jonny Awsum share the bill boat at the Guildhall, and at the Grainstore in nearby Oakham tonight, as part of a double bill of the Funhouse Comedy Club

RADIO: The third series of Chris Morris's Blue Jam gets its first repeat in 17 years, thanks to Radio 4 Extra. Originally made for Radio 1, the six-part programme is a blend of ambient music, deadpan sketches and offbeat monologues. It features Julia Davis, Amelia Bullmore and Kevin Eldon and is part written by Father Ted's creators Graham Linehan and Arthur Mathews. And is quite unlike anything else you might ever have heard.Radio 4 Extra, 11pm.

LIVE IN LIVERPOOL: Criminally under-rated Carey Marx, always entertaining Phil Nichol and the dark-but-playful Mark Nelson combine for a surefire night of top mixed-bill stand-up at the Laughterhouse comedy club at the Slaughterhouse tonight and tomorrow, overseen by regular local compere Chris Cairns.
