La Soiree returns to London

Spiegeltent to be erected in Leicester Square

Variety-burlesque night La Soiree is retuning to London's West End, with a wooden Spiegeltent erected in Leicester Square.

Acts including Ursula Martinez, The English Gents, Denis Lock's bubble act and Hamish McCann's pole act will be performed at the mixed-bill night, loch will run from November 11 to January 8.

Brett Haylock, the creative producer of the night, said: 'A little over ten years ago La Soiree, then known as La Clique, landed in London at the Hippodrome in Leicester Square. After a wonderful year we moved on and ever since the show has roamed London, setting up camp in a variety of places.

'Finally, however, we decided it was time to come home. So we are pitching a tent, literally, on the doorstep of our former base in the middle of Leicester Square and bringing our variety of twisted, saucy entertainment back to the centre of town.'

More than 75 artists have taken part in La Soirée in over 25 cities, attracting a total audience of 5.5 million people.
