Podcast duo hit the road

Angelos Epithemiou and Barry From Watford are to tour together.

The New Power Generator show will apparently see the pair discuss how to succeed in business, where they think corporations have got it right and wrong and the direction in which the financial sector is headed.

But producers concede that 'mostly they will be discussing the bookies, Londis, Crimewatch, if you can claim benefits in space, whether or not Kim Jong Un cuts his own hair and how Ban Ki Moon once nearly lost The UN in a poker game'.

So far 21 dates have been announced for the autumn, starting in Bromsgrove on October 30 and ending in Brighton on December 2. Click here for the Angelos & Barry tour dates.

Angelos, a burger van owner who wants to break into showbusiness, is the creation of character comedian Dan Renton Skinner. He got his break in 2009, when he became a permanent team member on the revival of Shooting Stars, before becoming the scorer.

While Barry is the alter-ego of actor Alex Lowe. He started in 2005 as a character who would call Iain Lee's phone-in on LBC, and later became a regular on Steve Wright's Radio 2 show too.

The paid have had a hit podcast since 2014, and speaking on a recent episode Angelo said they had written the show on toilet paper, saying: 'It's about 6 metres of bog roll long - about 95 packets of Benson & Hedges.'
