Jim Jefferies to return to the UK

Summer tour dates revealed

Jim Jefferies is returning to the UK for his first tour in four years.

Eight dates in his Freedumb tour are set to be formally announced tomorrow morning.

But Chortle can reveal the full schedule here, kicking off in Leicester on July 5 and winding up in Manchester on July 16.  The final date is the only one on sale at the moment, but others will be released tomorrow and Saturday.

A three-night run in London from July 13-15 is set to be announced at the end of next month, too.

It is Jefferies’ first UK tour since Fully Functional in 2012, although he has performed a smattering of one-off shows, including headlining a British Summertime festival gig in Hyde Park last summer.

The Australian comic was formerly based in the UK, but now lives in the States after landing his own series, Legit, on FX, in 2013.

A routine about gun control from his latest Netflix special, Bare, filmed at Boston’s Wilbur Theatre, went viral online, with the official video attracting 1.25million views on YouTube.
