Taking over It’s Not What You Know from Miles Jupp

Joe Lycett is to become the new host of Radio 4 panel show It's Not What You Know.

He will take over from Miles Jupp, who hosted the three series since its launch in 2012.

In a twist on the old Mr & Mrs idea, the show involves three panellists who are asked to guess how people close to them answered certain questions.

Jupp has now gone on to host Radio 4's News Quiz; while Lycett, who previously appeared on the show as a panellist in 2013, said his elevation to chairman was 'bonkers'.

He tweeted: 'I take over from Miles Jupp - incredibly difficult, high quality leather shoes to fill.'

Lycett's shows will be recorded next year.

He will also be on tour with That's The Way, A-Ha A-Ha, Joe Lycett in 2016 (Dates) and can be seen on TV this week on the Christmas Eve episode of 8 Out Of 10 Cats on Channel 4 and on Alan Davies:As Yet Untitled, airing on Dave on Wednesday night.
