BBC RADIO Wales has commissioned a third series of Siadwel. Creator John Sparkes told the South Wales Post that his bedroom poet character, originally from the TV sketch show Naked Video, should be back on air 'by the end of next year'. The creation was revived for a series of four half-hour episodes last year, with another following this year.

EDDIE IZZARD has added an extra five nights to his London run of Force Majeure Reloaded. The stand-up show will now run at the West End's Palace Theatre from January 18 to February 20. Tickets go on sale at 10am today.

STUART GOLDSMITH has announced a 2016 tour for his stand-up show An Hour. The host of the acclaimed Comedians' Comedian podcast will perform 18 dates between the Birmingham Glee on March 4 and the Secombe Theatre in Sutton, Surrey, on April 27. COMEDY fans are being sought to act as judges for Dave's Leicester Comedy Festival. Applicants must be aged over 18 and be able to be in Leicester for at least a week during the festival, which runs from February 3 to 21, where they will get free tickets. A WAR on terror comedy movie starring Tina Fey and Martin Freeman is to be released on March 4, the Paramount studio has announced. The as-yet untitled film is based on the memoirs of journalist Kim Barker, The Taliban Shuffle: Strange Days in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Fey will play Barker.
