THE RETURN of Rob Delaney and Sharon Horgan's Catastrophe last night attracted 925,000 viewers. That's 15 per cent up compared the first series launch in January, though still slightly below Channel 4's slot average. Read our review here.

FOOTAGE of Russell Howard backing NHS doctors gas gone viral on Facebook, amassing 6.3 million views. The social network counts just three seconds as a 'view' but the three-and-a-half minute clip from Good News has also attracted 119,000 'likes' and 110,000 shares.

A SHORT movie starring Australian comedian Steve Hughes as a zombie has won the best film award at the Sydney Indie Film Festival. Brainless Killers also scooped best thriller and best special effects. It was directed by Ren Thackham, who previously worked on marketing for the Comedy Cafe in London. Here's a trailer:

THE GUESTS have been named for the next series of Room 101, which has just gone into production. Comedians taking part include Noel Fielding, Russell Howard, Russell Kane, Greg Davies, James Acaster, Sam Simmons, Bridget Christie, Joanna Scanlan, Aisling Be a and Adil Ray. And Frank Skinner returns as host.

ROB LOWE's American sitcom The Grinder has been given a full series by the Fox network, following a successful pilot and short run of six episodes. Production will now start on another 15. In the show Lowe plats a TV lawyer Dean Sanderson who takes over his family's real law firm when his long-running TV series is axed.
