Comedy Central orders a second round of Drunk Histories
Drunk History is to return to Comedy Central for a second series.
New participants include Josie Long and Iain Stirling, while Joe Lycett, Tom Davis and Joseph Morpurgo are among the returning performers.
They will tell the stories of historical figures including Captain Scott and Mary Shelley while inebriated, with key scenes again being acted out in filmed inserts.
The recreation scenes are currently being shot after the narrators were filmed last month. Long tweeted at the time: 'Just got back from recording drunk history and I am watching bake off and am so drunk'.
With a voiceover by Jimmy Carr, the UK version followed the original in America, which began life as an internet series on the Funny or Die website and is current its third series.
The first UK series, made by Tiger Aspect, aired early this year.
