LIVE IN GLASGOW: A rock-solid selection of Scotland's club comics raise some dosh for the Capital Radio charity in a fundraiser at The Stand compered by breakfast show host Des Clarke and featuring Gary Little, Ray Bradshaw, and Edinburgh Comedy Award best newcomer nominee Larry Dean.

CINEMAS: Monty Python And The Holy Grail is to be re-released in cinemas to mark its 40th anniversary – but as a singalong version. The 1975 classic will be screened in more than 500 British cinemas tonight, with audiences will be encouraged to dress up as characters from the film, sing along to tunes such as Camelot Song (Knights of the Round Table), and bring coconut halves to bang together. The screening will be accompanied by a filmed introduction from Terry Jones, Terry Gilliam, Michael Palin, Eric Idle and John Cleese.

RADIO: Robert Newman returns to Radio 4 with his Entirely Accurate Encyclopaedia Of Evolution. The meticulously researched show argues that Darwinism has been distorted, and offers a new look at natural selection in the light of what we now know about epigenetics, mirror neurons - and The Flintstones. But expect jokes too. 6.30pm

LIVE IN LONDON: An eclectic bill for an unusual venue. The circus-themed Aeronaut in Acton plays host to the inventive visual comedy of Men In Coats, impassioned young politico Ahir Shah and delightfully grizzled Arthur Smith.
