THE next series of Red Dwarf, the 11th, will be broadcast in March 2016, star Chris Barrie has revealed. Speaking at Optimus, the South West Film and TV Convention in Torquay, he added that Red Dwarf XII is expected to air in autumn in 2017. Each comprises six half-hour episodes and will be broadcast on Dave.

DEAD AIR, the BBC Comedy Feed pilot made by Radio 1 DJ Greg James' Comedy Feed is to transfer from iPlayer to BBC Three where it will air at 11pm on August 19. It is the first comedy the radio star has written, and is based around a commercial radio DJ.

DANIEL SLOSS, The Horne Section, improv challenge BattleActs! and family stand-up show Huggers are all to play the Spiegeltent at Canary Wharf festival which runs in London from September 10 to 20. Line-up.

THIS year's Comedy International Conference will take place on October 8, it has been announced. Industry sessions at the Pleasance at Islington in London will cover overseas markets, production values, branding, and forms of comedy beyond stand-up.
