TV: Following a couple of end-of-year specials, Jason Manford hosts a new topical series for ITV, It's A Funny Old Week. Expect quips about the angering Malaysian mountain gods. This week's guest comic is Jason Byrne. 9.30pm

LIVE IN LONDON: Resofit, the annual evening of comedy, music and art in aid of avant-garde radio station Resonance 104.4FM takes place at the Bloomsbury Theatre, with Stewart Lee, Daniel Kitson, Lewis Schaffer, Rosie Wilby, Kevin Eldon and Shappi Khorsandi.

Tuesday June 16

RADIO: The first broadcast outing for Howard Moon and Vince Noir gets a repeat run on Radio 4 Extra. The Boosh, produced by Danny Wallace following Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt's Edinburgh success, first ran on BBC London Live in 2001, then on Radio 4 – and the rest is comedy history. 10.30pm

LIVE IN LONDON: Master Canadian storyteller Glenn Wool for free? You betcha, thanks to the good folks at the Chortle-Award-winning Angel Comedy Club in the Camden Head, Islington… and the fact he needs to try out material for his new Edinburgh show.

LIVE IN DUBLIN: Dara O Briain starts a two-week home town run of his latest show, Crowd Tickler, at Vicar Street.

Thursday June 18

ONLINE: As Ramadan starts, iPlayer plays host to a series of shorts from Muslim comedians. Guzzy Bear stars in Roadman Ramadan, guiding his his newly converted friend Trev through his first Ramadan; Sadia Azmat presents Things I've Been Asked As A British Muslim; Asim and Sadia Chaudhry star in The Feast, about a family Eid celebration; Prince Abdi tells the story of his First Fast; and in The Fast and the Fool Tez Ilyas shows us how he copes with the stresses and strains of an ordinary day in the office during Ramadan. All available from 9pm.

RADIO: Policeman-turned-comic Alfie Moore returns for a second series of It's A Fair Cop. As before, the studio audience for this Radio 4 comedy are sworn in as honorary constables for the night and asked what they would do in a particular scenario.6.30pm

Friday June 19

LIVE IN CARDIFF: It's Glenn Wool again, this time with the always provocative Brendon Burns (who's also lined up for this year's Chortle Conference, incidentally) plus Jimmy McGhie and Rob Rouse - all providing guaranteed entertainment at the Glee Club all weekend.

Saturday June 20

LIVE IN LONDON: Whose Line Is It Anyway? officially returns to Britain for its first show since 1999, via this West End production. The two-week run will reunite host Clive Anderson with Colin Mochrie, Josie Lawrence, Greg Proops and Brad Sherwood playing their improvised games – although the comedy savvy might baulk at the idea of paying up to £54 for tickets when you can see many of the original team perform with the Comedy Store Players every Wednesday and Sunday - and in more intimate surroundings - for just £17.

LIVE IN LONDON: It's a very strong line-up at 99 Club Covent Garden at the Seven Dials hotel tonight, thanks to Hal Cruttenden, James Acaster and Michael Fabbri… all MCed by Tom Webb.
