Lost pre-Python sketches unearthed

A tight 5: May 1

FOOTAGE from a lost episode of influential comedy series Do Not Adjust Your Set has emerged online. The sketches, featuring a pre-Python Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin, as well as David Jason, come from episode four of the comedy series and have not been seen since their broadcast in 1968, as the tapes were believed wiped. Here it is:

FRIENDS co-creator Marta Kauffman has ruled out any reunion, saying it wouldn't work now the characters would have grown up and had families. She told Entertainment Weekly: 'I understand that people want to relive that. But you can't relive that. We can't go back to that time in our lives. And let's be honest, reunions generally suck.’

THE second episode of Peter Kay's Car Share continued the show's ratings success last night, winning the 9.30pm slot with 4.2million viewers.

RUSSELL BRAND has backtracked on his advice not to vote. In the latest edition of his online show The Trews he suggested Brighton voters should back the Green Party’s first MP. ‘Are you a person that lives in Brighton Pavilion?’ he said. ‘If you are, you should definitely vote for this person, Caroline Lucas.’
