SACHA BARON COHEN is to produce a new comedy series for Netflix. The Borat star is an executive on Highston, a coming-of-age comedy about a 19-year-old who rather than facing the real world retreats into his imagination, where he hangs out with famous people. Hollywood website Deadline reports that the show is being created by Nebraska writer Bob Nelson.

DAWN FRENCH's stand-up show 30 Million Minutes is heading for the West End. The show will be at the Vaudeville Theatre from November 11 to December 5 with tickets, priced £19.50 to £65, going on sale from 9am tomorrow. Click here to read a review of the show.

ITV's topical comedy puppet show Newzoids has shed almost 30 per cent of its viewers in a week. Last night's edition was seen by 2.4million – a million down on last week's opening episode. Maternity sitcom The Delivery Man, which follows it at 9.30pm, also took a substantial knock – down 900,000 to 1.4million.

STEPHEN MANGAN is to host the episode of Have I Got News For You that Jeremy Clarkson was due to chair. Clarkson had been due to present tomorrow's edition, even after being axed from Top Gear, but pulled out two weeks ago.

PLANS to move BBC Three online have been delayed until after Christmas as the corporation waits for the BBC Trust to approve its proposals. Many of the channel's leading shows, including Russell Howard's Good News and Family Guy, have made or are making the move to BBC Two ahead of the changes.
