THE LAST LEG team are to stage a live version of their hit Channel 4 show. Adam Hills, Josh Widdicombe and Alex Brooker will be performing exclusively at the Latitude Festival in Suffolk on the weekend of July 16-19.

ARMANDO IANNUCCI is adapting Charles Dickens' David Copperfield for a new film promising a 'fresh take' on the classic novel. The movie was announced as part of BBC Films 25th anniversary celebrations, and will come ahead of the comedy about the death of Stalin that The Thick Of It creator mooted last week.

WILL FERRELL has received the 2,547th star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame for his contributions to comedy. He joked that 'I will be here every day from 3 to 5pm polishing the star.'
