New comedy for Will Arnett

Star is back on Netflix

Will Arnett is to star in a new comedy series for Netflix.

The star will play a guru whose own life untangles in the new series, Flaked, which he also co-created.

Arnett, who describes the show as a ‘passion project’, has previously voiced the animation Bojack Horseman and appeared in the Arrested Development revival for the on-demand broadcaster.

Netflix executive Cindy Holland said: ‘We are thrilled to be the home of Will Arnett’s next series, and look forward to Chip joining his repertoire alongside such diverse and inspirational characters such as Gob, Bojack, and Batman.’ Arnett voiced the Caped Crusader in last year’s Lego Movie.

The co-creator of Flaked is Mark Chappell, who wrote The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret alongside Arnett’s Arrested Development co-star David Cross.

Flaked is set to debut next year.
