Comedian sold 61,000 tickets yesterday

Kevin Bridges has announced three more dates to his 2015 A Whole Different Story... tour after selling out 61,038 tickets yesterday.

The tickets were on limited 'pre-sale' release, and of those sold more than 39,0000 were in Glasgow alone.

At around £30 a ticket including booking fee, it means the show has taken around £1.8million already.

The three new dates are: Hammersmith Apollo on September 17, The SSE Hydro Glasgow on October 1 and Aberdeen GE Oil & Gas Arena on October 8.

Tickets go on general sale for all his tour dates from 10am tomorrow.

Further UK, Ireland and European dates will be added shortly

Some of his gigs at The SSE Hydro will be recorded for Bridges' third stand-up DVD. And his autobiography We Need To Talk About… Kevin Bridges is released today.
