Wesboro bigots target Bill Cosby

Picket planned for comic's show

The hate-mongers of Westboro Baptist Church have found another target for their miserable campaign: loveable, 76-year-old, family-values comedian Bill Cosby.

Extremists are to picket the comic’s show in Kansas City tonight because they believe he has not use his fame to tell people to ‘obey God’s commandments’ – or at least their version of them.

Flyers for the protest also mention the 1997 murder of Cosby’s son Ennis at the hands of an armed mugger, sickeningly suggesting that was God’s ‘reward’ to the comic for ‘substituting his own standards for that of God’.

The Westboro sect also claim that that Cosby’s insistence that the death penalty not be carried to on killer Mikhail Markhasev was ‘contrary to God’s law’.

Cosby’s values, which have so angered the church, include instructing people ‘to obtain an education, work hard, and practice some very basic morality’.

Westboro Baptist Church will be back out in the streets of Kansas City on February 13 to picket a show from ventriloquist Jeff Dunham to ‘remind this nation to turn away from using these entertainers as idols and worship the one, true God’.

They added: ‘Just like all other famous and successful people in show business, Jeff Dunham would not be where he is today if he didn't bow down before the golden calf of the sodomites.’

The extremists are also angry at Dunham because: ‘he is divorcing his wife of decades now in utter ignorance of Christ's words’. Dunham actually divorced his first wife just over five years ago.

The virulently homophobic Westboro Baptist Church, which has previously picketed funerals of the victims of school shootings, believes that scriptures show that Barack Obama is the Antichrist and that he forms an unholy trinity with Satan and Pope Benedict XVI.
