Jack Whitehall does the double

Jack Whitehall was a double winer at the British Comedy Awards last night: scooping best comedy actor for his role in Fresh Meat and being crowned King Of Comedy by a public vote.

It was also a good night for Would I Lie To You, which was named best panel show, while team captain Lee Mack won best male TV comic.

The female title went to ventriloquist Nina Conti for her appearance on Live At The Apollo.
