Revealed: Festivals' comedy line-ups

Russell Kane is to headline the comedy tent at this year’s Reading and Leeds festivals.

The twin outdoor events take place over the August bank holiday weekend – clashing with the Edinburgh Fringe. However, there are still comics around to

American ‘king of Twitter’ Rob Delaney and South Africa’s Trevor Noah will also be playing both events, on a bill that also includes Josh Widdicombe, Paul Chowdhry, Jamie Kilstein and Jarred Christmas

Meanwhile, Carl Donnelly will be hosting the ‘national novelty dance-off finals’ at the festivals.

Appearing only at Leeds are: Seann Walsh, Mark Thomas, Romesh Ranganathan, Jim Smallman and Lucy Beaumont

And only at Reading are: Shappi Khorsandi, Tom Deacon and Daniel Townes.

While playing across both sites are Nathan Caton, Andrew O’Neill, Joel Dommett, Katherine Ryan, Idiots of Ants, Tiffany Stevenson, Elis James, Rob Beckett, Luisa Omielan, Suzi Ruffell, Mark Simmons and Andrew Ryan.

Musical headliners for the three-day events are headliners Green Day, Eminem and Biffy Clyro.
