Dutch comedy seeks laughs from killing

A Dutch comedy show as caused a stir by seeking laughs from the slaughter of soldier Lee Rigby.

The brief sketch on Langs De Leeuw showed two blood-soaked characters waving knives and cleavers like the killers caught on camera at the scene of the Woolwich murder.

It happened during a Eurovision Song Contest spoof; when cameras cut to the England table. The actors held up the stained weapons when asked to wave at the cameras, prompting the compere to run away screaming.

Host Paul de Leeuw was then seen held his head in his hands with laughter.

It is the time in days that the comic has made headlines; after sucking milk from a mother’s breasts on his show on the publicly-owned VARA channel last week.
