Dylan Moran to be a Larmer charmer

Headlining festival's comedy bill

The Larmer Tree festival has announced its comedy bill, which will be headlined by Dylan Moran.

The independent festival, which runs from July 17 to 21 near Salisbury, also features a stand-up set from Alistair McGowan, Rich Hall with his Hoedown show and sketch comedy from Idiots of Ants.

The rest of the comedy bill comprises Tony Law, Doc Brown, Ray Peacock, Patrick Monahan, The Noise Next Door, Jarlath Regan, Kieran Boyd, Mark Cooper-Jones, Paul Currie, Tommy Rowson , Matt Richardson and Comedy Club 4 Kids.

Music headliners at the 23-year-old event – which has a modest 4,000 capacity – include Van Morrison, Dexys and Seasick Steve.

Comedy programmer Julia Safe said: ‘We have a unique mix of well-known names and impressive emerging talent.’
