Jack Whitehall announces arena tour

'In the round' shows for 2014

Jack Whitehall is to become the latest comedian to join the ranks of arena stand-ups.

He has announced a ten-stop tour, including such venues as Wembley Arena, Manchester Arena and Brimingham NIA.

And in a first for a UK solo stand-up tour in such large venues, the shows will be performed ‘in the round’ – with the stage in the centre of the venue.

Tickets for the tour, Jack Whitehall Gets Around, go on sale this Friday – even though the dates are not until March 2014.

And he will be on the Jonathan Ross Show on Saturday to promote it.

This tour is his first since his 2011 stand-up show, Let’s Not Speak Of This Again.

In December, Whitehall was crowned King of Comedy at the annual British Comedy Awards. In addition to his stand-up, he stars as JP in Channel 4’s Fresh Meat, has also written and stars in his own BBC Three sitcom Bad Education and is a panellist on Sky1’s A League Of Their Own.
