Justin Bieber: The sitcom?

Series in development

Justin Bieber’s life is set to be turned into a sitcom.

America’s ABC network is developing a single-camera comedy based on the pop superstar’s awkward early teenage years, before he became famous.

But Bieber – who will be an executive producer on the show with his manager Scooter Braun – won’t have to plunge the recesses of his memory, as he’s still only 18 now.

Matt Wolpert and Ben Nedivi – whose previous credits include Entourage   – are writing the script.

French-Canadian Bieber grew up in Ontario, the son of a teenage unmarried mum, who raised him with the help of her mother and stepfather. Braun spotted Bieber when he was just 13 and propelled him to fame.
