Brand to take part in Christmas special
Katy Brand is to take part in Strictly Come Dancing.
She will appear in the BBC One’s show’s Christmas Day special alongside fellow comic Bobby Ball.
It is not the first time she has taken part in a reality dancing competition, as she performed Beyonce’s Single Ladies on Let’s Dance for Sport Relief in 2010.
Other celebrities taking part in the festive Strictly Come Dancing special for the first time are actress Sheila Hancock, former footballer Fabrice Muamba, Jonathan 'JB' Gill from JLS and presenter Helen Skelton.
The BBC's Christmas schedule also includes Yuletide editions of Miranda, The Royle Family and Mrs Brown's Boys.
Brand will also be appearing on Sky 1 over Christmas, as one the comedians making a Little Cracker short film.
