New movie role

James Corden is set to star in a festive movie about a dad who needs to find his ’inner Father Christmas’ to win back his kids.

School For Santas will be written by Richard Bean – the playwright behind One Man, Two Guvnors, which proved such a success for Corden in the West End and Broadway.

Shooting will take place next year in New York and London, Hollywood industry website Deadline reports, with Kick-Ass producer Kris Thykier producing the movie for Woking Title films.

Corden has just finished shooting One Chance, about Britain’s Got Talent winner Paul Potts, and will also star alongside Keira Knightley in the forthcoming film Can A Song Save Your Life?
