...as SYTYF finalists are revealed

Ruby Wax has been revealed as the celebrity judge at the final of the So You Think You’re Funny? talent hunt at the Edinburgh Fringe.

She was confirmed as organizers also announced the nine new comedians who have made it through to Thursday night’s final.

They are: Amir Khoshsokhan, Wayne Mazadza, Aisling Bea, Jonathan Pelham, Ingrid Dahle, Conor Neville, Nick Dixon, Glenn Moore and Murdo Haggs.

The winner will take home £5,000 cash prize and a trip to perform at Montreal’s Just For Laughs Festival.

Jason Cook, creator of new BBC sitcom Hebburn, will compere the event.

Previous winners in the competition’s 25-year history have included Peter Kay, David O’Doherty, Lee Mack, Tommy Tiernan, and Dylan Moran.
