Rufus Hound joins One Man, Two Guvnors

...for UK tour

Rufus Hound is to star in the hit comedy play One Man, Two Guvnors when it tours the UK in the autumn.

It reinforces his move away from comedy and into theatre, following his role in the experimental piece Utopia currently running at the Soho Theatre.

Hound – who has just left Celebrity Juice – will play Francis Henshall, the role made famous at the National Theatre and son Broadway by James Corden.

The play has already toured the UK with Corden in the lead – before he won his Tony Award for the New York production last month.

Hound tweeted last night that he was ‘so f'ing excited’ to be taking the role on tour.

The full touring cast is yet to be announced, although Jodie Prenger – who is part of the West End cast – will join Hound for shows in Salford and Blackpool. And Owain Arthur, currently in the show's London production, will join for dates in Wales.

Hound is also about to front a new ITV comedy-hypnotism game show called Mash Da Mind.
