Facejacker: The movie?

Kayvan Novak reveals plans

Kayvan Novak is set to turn his Channel 4 prank show Facejacker into a movie.

He said that Sacha Baron Cohen was an ‘inspiration’ for the move on to the big screen.

Trade magazine Broadcast reports that Novak revealed his plans for the Film 4 movie at a TV event called Square Eyes.

‘The biggest mistake you can make with a prank show is remove the “real” 'element, which is the funniest thing,’ he said, adding that that film ‘will definitely be hidden camera’.

Channel 4 said that ideas are being discussed, but it’s ‘very early days’.
