New movie starts filming today

Kevin Bishop has today started filming a new British comedy film set agains the recent London riots.

The Star Stories actor plays vengeful policeman Baz Vartis in the dark comedy May I Kill U? The plot involves his character tweeting and posting videos from his helmet camera as he goes on a vigilante spree.

Frances Barber, Green Green Grass actor Jack Doolan also star in the film, written and directed by Stuart Urban, one of the writers of the acclaimed mini-series Our Friends In The North.

Urban said: ‘In the film we explore the interaction of society and a vigilante style killer whose choices play well to the social media gallery, particularly one hungry for payback because of street crime in the UK.’
