Stand Up For The Week to return

With Jon Ricahrdson as host

Channel 4 has ordered a third series of Stand-Up For The Week, with a new line-up of comics.

Jon Richardson, who was a regular on the last series, will replace Kevin Bridges as host when the show returns in November. Richardson is a new Channel 4 favourite, having been made team captain on 8 Out Of Ten Cats earlier this year.

The regulars on the new series of Stand Up For The Week will be Seann Walsh, Sara Pascoe, Rich Hall, Josh Widdicombe and Paul Chowdhry.

Andi Osho and Jack Whitehall will not return, while Hall is the only regular to have been with the show since the start.

The venue for the show will also change, from Koko in Camden, North London, to the Clapham Grand, South London.

Madeleine Knight, Commissioning Editor Channel 4 said: ‘Stand Up For The Week continues to be a showcase for some of the country’s best comedians and we’re thrilled that Jon Richardson will step up to host the new series.’
