ITV1 pilot for Keith

ITV1 is hoping Keith Lemon could be its next star of prime-time Saturday night.

He is making a pilot of Keith Lemon's Bang Tidy Show next month, which aims to bring the spirit of his digital hit Celebrity Juice to the mainstream audience.

The show will mix celebrity guests and audience games – as well as some more off-the-wall ideas such as ‘a talking orangutan, a door that leads to anywhere and a supermarket in the future staffed by old celebrities’.

Lemon – the creation of comedian Leigh Francis – will end each show with a big performance with his celebrity guest.

The pilot is being made by Talkback Thames in London on July 5 – see our free tickets page to be in the audience.
